The Rubens gives you a choice for every occasion from cocktails to light snacks, traditional English afternoon tea to fine dining. The Palace Lounge is where friends meet for drinks, snacks, or their famous afternoon tea of freshly baked scones, finger sandwiches, and homemade cakes. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for watching the activity at the Royal Mews opposite. Enjoy a truly sophisticated afternoon break!

Day Schedule

Arrive at your leisure in the late afternoon and make your way to the Palace Lounge, where you can enjoy a Royal spread of fresh scones, delicious light sandwiches, heavenly homemade cakes and of course, a variety of teas or coffee. The resident pianist plays from 1pm - 5pm.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. This experience is for two people. The afternoon tea includes fresh scones with jam and cream, finger sandwiches, homemade cakes and a choice of teas or coffee for each person. Please note that menus are subject to availability and change without notice. Please advise the hotel of any special dietary requirements upon booking. This experience is available Sunday to Friday only.
