This amazing experience is your chance to see some of Scotlands most dramatic sea and landscapes from a unique and breathtaking aerial view. Youll learn fascinating facts about the local area from your experienced pilot as you soar high above the iconic landmarks and stunning countryside of the West Coast. Youll be amazed as you glance over the Falls of Lora, Loch Linne, the Isle of Mull and the horseshoe-shaped bay of Oban. There will be plenty of opportunities for photographs, and youll even receive a glass of Champagne and framed photo when you land.

Day Schedule

Upon arrival you will be met by your experienced pilot, who will give you an informative briefing before the flight. During your flight your pilot will also tell you about the history of the area, pointing out local landmarks as you soar through the sky. Taking off from Oban Airport this 60 minute tour incorporates some of the best land and seascapes that Scotland has to offer. Passing over the Falls of Lora your flight takes you to the picturesque town of Oban, which occupies a beautiful setting in the Firth of Lorn. The bay itself is a near perfect horseshoe shape, protected by the island of Kerrera. Flying over the town you will have the chance to see McCaigs tower, Oban Distillery and the Cathedral of St Columba. Looking west you will be able to see Lismore Island, protecting the entrance to Loch Linnhe and safeguarding sailors with its statuesque lighthouse, built by Robert Stevenson. Also in view will be Scotlands fourth largest island, the Isle of Mull, with Duart Castle standing proud on its craggy shores. You may even be able to see the Paps of Jura to the south and the outlying islands of Colonsay, Scarba and Luing, as well as the Bridge over the Atlantic and Easdale. Once you have landed you will receive a refreshing glass of Champagne, and you will even receive a framed photo of one of the sights that you have seen during your flight.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. This package includes a 60 minute sightseeing flight with a glass of Champagne and a framed photograph. You are required to bring photo ID with you on the day. There is no minimum age but all children must be at least of booster seat age (3-4yrs and over). The supplier cannot take children without the supervision of a paying parent or guardian and the parent/guardian must be satisfied that the child is confident enough to fly. Under 18s will not receive the Champagne but this can be given to an accompanying adult. There are no medical restrictions and weight limits vary depending on the weight of individual passengers on each particular flight if in doubt about your suitability to fly please contact the supplier. Maximum height is 6ft 6in. All dates are subject to availability.
