Mike Robinson Game and Wild Food Cookery School BOOKING FORM

A fantastic opportunity to learn about game meats under the instruction of expert Mike Robinson. Choose to learn delicious recipes for a selection of game or alternatively experience the preparation of wild venison from kill to table. A perfect gift for the adventurous cook.

Day Schedule

As a guide courses start at 8:45 and finish at 4:30 and include lunch. The Game courses will be taught by Mike personally in which you will prepare three recipes, to include pheasant, rabbit and wild venison. You can then go home and recreate the dishes perfectly. The Full Venison course includes a visit to a local deer park to see how deer are humanely culled and field dressed. Then learn the principles of brining prior to smoking the meat and marinading.

On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months. You are then free to contact the Cookery School direct to make your booking and choose your course. Courses run selected dates throughout the year. Please note, the full venison course requires the client to observe the whole process from field to table in the company of a qualified gamekeeper.
