Enjoy an incredible day out at Dartmoor Zoo as you get behind the scenes of one of the UK's most renowned wildlife parks! As zoo keepers for the day, you'll be helping out with feeding, cleaning and even walking some of the most exotic creatures Dartmoor has to offer. Informative and highly trained animal keepers will be on hand all day to guide you through your experience and ensure you get the most out of your day. To top it all off, you'll each receive a commemorative certificate and t-shirt to ensure you'll have a souvenir of your amazing day!

Day Schedule

Your full day of zoo keeping starts with light refreshments, before being greeted by a member of staff. You will then be shown into the animal park for training in the days activities and an essential health and safety briefing. During your experience you'll have the opportunity to become involved in all aspects of the animal care, including cleaning and mucking out, food preparation and feeding - and you'll even get to try walking the animals! You'll be able to meet a wide variety of animals; including raccoons, monkeys and meerkats, and you may get to watch the feeding of the big cats. As a souvenir of your momentous day out, you'll each be presented with a certificate and t-shirt.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months for two people. The minimum age for this experience is 14 (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult). The experience is available on most days of the year, subject to availability. Please allow approximately 8 hours for this experience. Please note: this experience does not include any active involvement in the big cat section. Both people must take the experience at the same time. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, but that parent or guardian is not chargeable. Only one non-paying parent or guardian per child group is permitted. Any additional adults are chargeable. Although spectators will not be able to accompany the voucher holder during their experience, family and friends may pay normal admission prices to enter the park and enjoy the other attractions and animals. Disabled access is available, for further information please discuss with the supplier at the time of booking. This voucher may not be extended. All bookings are subject to availability.
