This centre has been running for 21 years and the staff are knowledgeable and experienced with all the birds. This half day course gives you the opportunity to share in this knowledge and also to interact with these magnificent birds of prey up close. You will be flying Eagle Owls, Harris Hawks, Buzzards and Barn Owls. This experience is a perfect taster into the exciting world of falconry and is sure to be something that you never forget.

Day Schedule

Your experience starts with tea and coffee and an introduction and tour to the centre. You will see the variety of birds close up and learn all about them. After that, you will have the chance to fly the Eagle Owls, Harris Hawks, Buzzards and Barn Owls to the fist under the watchful eye of the trainer. Finally there will be plenty of photo opportunities to capture a truly unforgettable experience. You will be at there for approximately 3 hours in total.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. All equipment will be provided for your experience, but it is advisable to bring a pair of wellington boots with you and wear suitable outdoor clothing for the time of year. Please note that the species of bird flown will be dependent on the time of year. The minimum age for this experience is 12 years.
