Upon arrival you will be shown to your camping pod an insulated wooden hut designed to offer a unique take on the traditional camping experience. Your cosy camping pod will be fitted with an electric light, heater and socket, as well as a picnic table outside, and provides numerous benefits compared to a stay in a tent. The park boasts all the facilities youd expect from a camping site, including a shower block, free freezer and free air-bed/tyre inflation. A welcome pack consisting of bacon, eggs, milk, butter, a loaf of bread and a local newspaper is available at an additional cost. Youll find plenty of ways to unwind during your one night break at The Old Rectory Camping Park. Set in the stunning Tamar Valley, the park boasts breathtaking views stretching to Dartmoor and is surrounded by gorgeous countryside, quiet rural walks and wonderful wildlife including rabbits, badgers and the parks very own pigs, hens and Shetland ponies. The park is also situated near a number of historic attractions, including the market town of Tavistock and Morwellham Quay.
