Day Schedule
Gorsebank is situated on an 80 acre equestrian farm in the beautiful Galloway Hills in South West Scotland. Upon arrival at Gorsebank, you and your guest will be shown to your wigwam. A wigwam is a well built, insulated wooden hut that provides a more comfortable alternative to traditional tent camping. It comes with running electricity, lighting, a power point, fridge, kettle, microwave and heating. Outside of the pod there is a picnic table, BBQ and campfire area. There are ladies and gents toilets, showers, a kitchen/dining area and laundry and drying areas on site. All this will enable you to enjoy the great outdoors with comfortable accommodation for your base with various walking and biking trails (bikes can be hired on site); Solway Coast is less than two miles away, so you will be within easy reach of beaches and a dramatic coastline. There are also fishing sites, pubs, restaurants and interesting market towns close by. The area is culturally and historically rich and has many attractions worth seeing, such as Caverlock Castle and The National Museum of Costume.
